Achieving Simplicity

Accor Services have begun 2009 with an impressive new venture, the Connect 2015 campaign. Launched at the AGM in Paris, Connect 2015 is the revival and renewal of Accor Services' vocation, vision and values.

Accor Services has taken to heart its mission "to create added value services that accompany changes in society, contribute to strengthened social relations and improve well-being and motivation for individuals and society at large." Alongside the five values already held-up and associated with the company, namely 'innovation', 'spirit of conquest', 'performance', 'respect' and 'trust,' Accor has added 'simplicity.'

When asked to elaborate on this newest addition to the defining values of the global leader in prepaid solutions, the value of simplicity was explained as, "Accor Services' know how; faced with increasingly complex world, organizations and challenges, we must be pragmatic: act and speak sincerely and build up strong relationships with our employees and our partners. Simplicity also means making complicated solutions easy to use for the clients."

Reading the opening paragraph of the introductory Connect 2015 presentation, it is clear that the value of simplicity, in balance with the other five values, are key to the company's ethic and identity, "Accor Services is trusted and recognised internationally for its role in facilitating and simplifying the activities of organisations and individuals… Reliable, efficient, flexible and modern, its services bring benefit to all its stakeholders: public authorities, social partners, corporate and government clients, end users and affiliate networks."

Sometimes mistakenly assumed to be a niche product, the prepaid card services offered by Accor Services are functional across the board and can be customised and personalised to suit corporates big and small, insurers, social welfare institutions and more.
