Accor Services delivers Gucci Gift Card
The Rewards and Motivation division of Accor Services developed for Gucci the first gift
card in Europe, launched simultaneously in 6 countries of Europe.
The luxury brand's customers are now able to buy and spend with the card in France, in Italy,
in Germany, in Spain, in the United Kingdom and in Switzerland.
Accentiv ' Kadéos teams supervised the realization of the card in its entirety: consulting
for the program conception, transactions management, manufacturing, adaptation to the country
and the transactions system exploitation.
With PrePay Solutions, Accentiv ' Kadéos will strengthen its expertise in the gift cards
launching projects in White Label, and will be able to deploy the new solutions implemented
by PrePpay Solutions on this subject. Teams are already working in close cooperation in order
to develop new customers' references by leaning on the PrePay Solutions experience regarding
prepaid cards processing in Private Label.
USA continues to succeed despite economic environment
Despite the US economy downturn, Accor Services USA has added in the last few months several
prominent new clients to the Commuter Check program.
UCLA (University of California – Office of the President) is switching providers to Commuter
Check Direct (our full administration program) offering our products to over 1,000 participants
starting in July 2009. As Randy Johnson (National Sales director) says: "the real opportunity
for Accor Services USA is to become the single provider for each of the 4 Groups that are part
of UCLA and our service quality will be our best ammunition to reach this goal". Kudos goes
to Steve Rossen who has worked tirelessly for the last 12 months to sign this
prestigious contract.
UCLA completes the 1st quarter list of over 100 new clients, acquired by the excellent performing
and motivated Sales Team. The list includes great references such as Gucci, Sony Playstation,
New Balance, Liberty Mutual, Chevron, Qualcomm, IDG- (PC World), Northrop Grumman, Genzyme, Hard
Rock Café, Wikepedia.
UK Giving Back
Accor Services UK is further improving its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility
(CSR) by launching a Payroll Giving scheme for its employees.
The scheme allows employees to make tax efficient donations to charities of their choice
directly from their salary. This means the whole amount that the employee wishes to donate
on a monthly basis is given to the charity without any tax deductions.
Andrew Adams, Eyecare Vouchers Product Manager who has taken up this option comments on how
the scheme works for him: "The scheme is an excellent idea and is easily accessible via our
AccorFlex platform which is run by Motivano. I am able to make a regular donation in a tax
efficient way which means I can donate more to the charity of my choice. The fact that Accor
Services also matches the donation is an added bonus and a generous way of supporting charities
Accor Services' employees believe in."
Patrick LANGLOIS, Managing Director of Accor Services, said: "We believe our CSR strategy
should be owned and influenced by our employees and the Payroll Giving scheme supports this
